We are a group of young people from across the world, living in China, who were constantly being asked "Why China?!" by confused family and friends. Featuring people's stories, undiscovered places, and trending topics from the most populous country in the world, YChina cuts beneath the headlines and offers a window into the 'why'.

Through global street interviews, exhibition coverage, and local experiences, we create content that bridges cultural gaps and showcases authentic Chinese experiences to the world.

About the Founder

Raz Galor, born in 1994, is a co-founder of Y-China, a leading cross-cultural content media group in China. He was recognized as one of the Forbes 30 Under 30 honorees and was named the Emerging Figure of the Year by The Paper in 2021.
