Hong Lei once worked in Tianjin Automobile Industry Group Co. Ltd. He took charge of business planning and technological upgrading. He began to work in the VC field in Tianjin in 2001 and joined TJVC in 2004. He took part in the joint-venture VCs with Softbank Asia Infrastructure fund and Tasly biotechnology venture capital firm sequentially. In 2005, he took the position of vice-director at Tasly Biotechnology, a venture capital firm. Hong Lei has a bachelors degree in chemistry and a masters degree in business administration.
